Newborn Photography – {Ellicott City Photographer}

5 03 2012

I’m not sure if we will ever catch up on blogging our photography sessions from last year but we’re going to work on it!

We were so excited to photograph a brand new baby of one of our former wedding couples. Eric and Aubrey were married in 2008, you can find a few wedding pictures of the beautiful bride and groom by clicking here.  They had their engagement session at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, at the end of their session, they sported their Redskins jerseys, click here to check out their e-session pictures.  I mention the Skins jerseys, for a very specific reason…..they are TRUE fans of the Washington Redskins.

Fast forward several years and they have an adorable little girl, and now, a beautiful baby boy.  And guess what??  They have their very own Skins’ jerseys!

Here’s a few photographs from their newborn photo session

Snug as a cute baby bug…

Isn’t she too cute!!

Aubrey and Eric, THANK YOU for the honor of hanging out with you and creating a few memories of baby E’s first week! I hope they are enjoyed for generations to come! You have a beautiful family and I’m so glad to know you all! 🙂

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a photographer in the Maryland area, we’d love the chance to talk with them. 410.988.5563 🙂

Baby portraits for handsome Gabriel {Ellicott City Photographer}

23 05 2011

I LOVE having the honor of photographing babies.  Truly, I love everything about it. I love the family portraits we capture, the photographs of mom with the baby, dad with the baby, all of it! Toes, fingers…so cute and tiny!

I’ve had the pleasure of creating many family portraits for this beautiful family. Gabriel is actually their fourth child!….and first boy! Yes, he will have THREE big sisters looking out for him. 🙂

As I look through the images from Gabriel’s session, I’m reminded of when I was pregnant with my now 7 year old and having tears in my eyes while sharing my excitement with Denise (Gabriel’s mom). I couldn’t wait for her and her hubby to experience the joy, the anticipation, the wonder of it all. Well now, fast forward almost 8 years, and they have had FOUR children since then! FOUR!! They handle parenthood so well. Denise and Rob, I admire how you work so beautifully together to balance your personal and professional lives. Your children are very blessed to have you as parents.  Your clients in your real estate company, The Garner Team, are real fortunate to have you as well, you really work hard for them so that their buying and/or selling experience is a good one.

Here are just a few of the images from our morning together.  I’m looking forward to his six months portraits when he is surrounded by all of his adoring sisters!

Thanks again, Rob and Denise, for the continued honor of documenting your family’s love.

“Welcome home daddy” and “Happy birthday, baby!” {Ellicott City Photographer}

27 03 2011

So…..I met Shawn last year.  She had called my studio asking if I did “cake smash” photos for babies birthday pictures.  After chatting and answering some questions, I invited her into the Studio to discuss further what she wanted and what I could offer.  I loved our visit, we hit it off right away.

Through our conversation that day at the Studio, I learned that her husband was in the Middle East serving our country.  He would be home in several months when their baby turns one!  AWESOME!!  How great that we could create a family portrait at the same time of Cheyenne’s one year portraits and cake smash photos!

Even though it was several months until daddy would be home, I was able to see Cheyenne and her mommy a few times.  I invited her to help me showcase some of my new tutu sets, Cheyenne was a great little model.

Hi daddy!!  Hurry home!

Christmas baby…

Fast forward now,  to last month when the long awaited trip from husband and daddy was finally realized.  Brian was now on U.S soil and with his family!!! 😀 He, his beautiful wife and baby and his parents all came to my studio for a great afternoon.  It was a true honor and joy to have all of them here.

Here are some of the portraits that we created that fun February day.

First of all, THANK YOU, BRIAN, for serving our country.  I’m so thankful for you and all of our servicemen and women.

Are they a beautiful family or what??

How sweet is this??

This just melts my heart….

Sometimes, I’m lost for words….

Brian’s beautiful and proud parents…

On to the birthday girl!  Time to party.

I had such an amazing time photographing Cheyenne and her family!  I am honored to have had the pleasure to get to know this wonderful family.  Debbie, Bill, Leslie, Brian, Shawn and baby Cheyenne, big hugs to you all!

Shawn, I’m looking forward to our next fun day with your little sweetheart.  Let’s get your grandmother in here for that “4 generations of gorgeous girls” portrait!  😉

A great start to the New Year – Maryland Child Photographer

7 01 2011

I had a fantastic time the other day! I met adorable baby Damian, got to hang out with big brother, Dominic and their extremely awesome parents. I love this family.

Big bro Dominic is such a little guy now. Changed quite a bit this past  year. He came to the door and I couldn’t believe it was him! Another reminder of how fast our days, months and years fly.

Here are just a few images from our fun morning together!

What an incredibly precious child…

L O V E  this image of beautiful Alicia and her newborn…

Totally melts my heart….

This was such a real moment with Dom and daddy, I love it!

Thank you, Alicia and Gray! As always, it was a pleasure hanging out with you all!  I cannot wait to present to you the rest of your images!

Baby + Tutus = ADORABLE!

9 11 2010

I had such a fun time this morning, a great start to another busy work week.  I had the pleasure of photographing adorable baby “C”.  She is such a happy little one, handled this shoot as if she’d done it a dozen times.  Shawn, her mom, was FANTASTIC to work with. 🙂

I usually don’t post photos online until my clients have had a chance to come in and view their images at their Portrait Premiere.  But since Shawn’s husband is serving our country in Afghanistan, I’m making an exception.  Brian, if you’re reading this, please know that I am so thankful to you for serving our country.  I appreciate everything that you and our other service people do for our beautiful country.  THANK YOU!!

Here are just a few of my faves from our session.

And one of my faves of mommy and daughter. Doesn’t this just ooze sweetness….

Shawn, thanks again for allowing your sweetie pie to model these great tutus! I’m already looking forward to her 1 year portrait session and family portrait. It was wonderful meeting with you and your mom last week and I look forward to meeting Brian and getting that beautiful family portrait for you!

Family portraits and a slideshow…

with the Militello cuties! I LOVE kids! Probably because I’m just one big kid. Or perhaps because they are so stinkin’ cute. I am so blessed to be able to photograph people for a living!

Last week I posted a slideshow of these adorable children welcoming their baby sis into the world. Fast forward 10 months, and baby sis is growing up! How precious is she?

Click here to view the slideshow of my fun morning with this beautiful family. Thanks again, Jen and Bill. It’s so fun hanging out with you and your cuties!

I will be posting more later, but I wanted to get a couple out there for you.

Thanks, Jen!  I had such a great time with you all.  Your boys are beyond adorable and so sweet to their baby sis!  And honestly, I could’ve stayed all day and continued photographing Mary Elizabeth.  She’s so stinkin’ cute and full of expressions!  I love you all!  We’ll get Bill next time, right?!

for another beautiful family.

I had the extreme honor of photographing another sweet newborn, Carter,  into the Woodard family.  I was able to get to know this awesome family when I photographed his older brother when he was a part of my Baby’s First Year Plan.  I love this family and always have a great time with them.

A sweet moment with the family…

There are many more family photos from our morning together. Check out their slideshow by clicking the link below.

Kelly and Skeeter, thanks again for trusting me to document Carter’s growth throughout the year. I’m looking forward to seeing you all next time!!

melt my heart!

I was thrilled to meet baby Ella.  I met her mom last year when she came to my studio for corporate head shots.  Months later, she contacted me to photograph her maternity session with Julia, the soon-to-be big sister! I had a great time with them. 🙂 I could tell that Julia was going to be an awesome big sis!  Click here to see a few images from her maternity session.

Jennifer is a beautiful, smart woman and her daughters are absolutely precious. I’m looking forward to taking their family portraits very soon!

Here’s sweet, 6 week old Ella…

I hope you enjoy this slideshow…
