Mother’s Day Gift Certificates

30 04 2010

Alright, kiddos, time to buy the perfect gift for your mom. Pam Long Photography gift certificates!  For a very limited time, we are offering an extra bonus!  When you purchase a gift certificate for $100,  your certificate will be valued at $125!  When you purchase a gift certificate for $150, you receive an extra $50 for a value of $200!!!  That’s a fantastic return on your investment.   🙂

Give mom the incredible gift of portraits.  She can use them to pay for a photo session (family, children, maternity, newborn, boudoir, in-studio, on location – get it? no limits!!)  If you’re planning on beach portraits this summer, she can use it towards awesome family portraits on the beach.  Planning on holiday cards again this year, yes, these  certificates can be used towards them!  Do you know someone that is expecting a baby, purchase one for her to use toward maternity and newborn portraits! These certificates can also be used for portrait prints, albums, frames, purses or jewelry.

“My sister was right, you are wonderful!  My family and I had a great time and shared lots of laugh together during our photo shoot and portrait selection with you.  As a picky person, I was very impressed with your attention to detail, professionalism, and personal attention  you gave us.  It’s obvious that you love what you do and your work shows it.  I have and will continue to recommend your services to my friends and family.”

This offer is good for all people….not just moms or for moms!  If you know that you’ll be having Pam Long Photography photograph a session for you in the future, yes, you may purchase a value-added gift certificate as well.  But….you need to do it by Wednesday, May 5th!

We have 14 gift certificates in stock. These will be sold on a first call, first serve basis. All calls will be taken in the order in which they are received. Many of you “shop” at night, we understand, you are welcome to email us at pam@pamlongphotography.com with your information (do not email your credit card info) and we will get back with you.

We look forward to serving you. Have a fantastic weekend! 🙂

My baby turns 3…

16 03 2008

Last weekend my baby became a “big girl” 3 year old.

We celebrated with friends and family at Playwise Kids in Columbia.  We had been there a few other times and the girls have had a blast each time.  So much to do and a diverse range of choices!  Check them out for a fun play date or party!

Amanda was our “Party Hero”.  She was great with Lexi and her friends.  Amanda, thanks for taking great care to make sure Lexi had fun.  You coordinated everything nicely to ensure that her party ran smoothly.

Here’s the big girl…

There are many different areas to play at Playwise. One is the grocery store. You can fill up your grocery cart with fruits, veggies and dry goods and then head over the cashier. Here Joseph heads out to shop…

Three Brothers does the catering for Playwise Kids.  Everyone loved the pizza and fruit platter that they prepared.  Yum!

I think it’s safe to say that everyone had a great time…

Thanks to Amanda and to Playwise Kids for providing this fun entertainment for Lexi and her friends.  Amanda, the letter that you sent to Lexi was really nice!  Thanks to Three Brothers for the food.  Thanks to Lexi’s friends and family for coming out and celebrating with us.  Thanks to Nonnie and Poppu for making the drive to be here with us.

And of course, thanks to Lexi for being such a sweet, cute, smart and lovable daughter! We love you soooo much.

Surprise Barbara!!…and Dave!!!

17 11 2007

Family and friends gathered together last weekend to surprise Barbara and to celebrate her birthday.  Her daughters, Amy and Jen, had arranged a wonderful party for both their mom and dad….but dad thought it was for Barbara only….surprise Dave!

The fantastic party was at Baldwin Station Restaurant in Sykesville.  What a great place.  Check them out if your ever in Sykesville…or just go to Sykesville to check them out!!

Friends and family got together and caught up with one another while waiting for Barbara to arrive.  She thought she was having lunch with her girlfriend, what a surprise she had when she entered the back deck of the restaurant….

I just love this picture of Amy hugging her mom while holding her dad’s hand. The emotion on Barbara’s face was shared by everyone there!

After making her way through the room collecting hugs and kisses, everyone sat down for a wonderful meal. Amy and Jen did a great job sharing their thoughts about their mom and dad…

There were so many nice people to help celebrate another year for this couple, it was really fun to meet everyone.  Dave and Barbara are fortunate to have a great group of friends and family to surround them.

Special kudos for Jenaire, the manager at Baldwin’s and her team that served everybody. Thanks to Kira, Chris, Joy, Casey and Nicholas; you handled yourselves as true professionals.

Amy, thank you for hiring me to document part of this special day. You and Jen really did a great job executing this celebration. I had a great time with you all.

Thanks also to Joan and Heather for referring me.

Thelma and Lou’s family organized an awesome birthday celebration for them at Patapsco Valley State Park on Labor Day. It was a gorgeous day for their party.

These are two of the nicest people that you could ever meet. And you would never guess them to be turning 80! I think 80 must be the new 50!

I had the privilege of meeting Thelma and Lou a few years ago after moving to our neighborhood.  They are the parents of Lisa…..Lisa and Tom are neighbors….not only neighbors, great friends.  They are really fantastic people, the type that you meet and feel like you’ve known all of your life.  Johnny and I are glad that they are a part of our lives…..and our girls love them!

Okay, back to Thelma and Lou….they have three children,  eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Twenty eight family members, spouses, fiances and significant others celebrated this awesome occasion with them.  Here’s a picture of this beautiful family….

One of their grandchildren, Mike, has a sweet girlfriend, Kat. Kat couldn’t get to the park in time for the group picture, so here’s one of her and Mike….

Aren’t they all just so sweet?

Brian and Emily are another great couple.  They will be getting married next August. We took a walk to the waterfall to get some shots of them…

Although the Falls were suffering because it’s been so dry, both Brian and Emily look awesome….

Jake anxiously awaited for the balloons that Grandpa John was going to undo and share…

And John, my girls LOVE the balloons. Hayley was so excited to show Lexi that they both had such shiny balloons!! Thank you! 🙂

Thelma and Lou, you are both such terrific people….and responsible for so many other terrific people being here on earth. It was great witnessing the love that everyone has for you. Your family is full of wonderful people; it was nice talking with them as well as photographing them. I really enjoyed documenting such a milestone event.  I thank your entire family for sharing so much of themselves with me.

Toward the end of the party, it was evident that fun was had by all…
