When I was interviewed over the phone by Kathy, Kerry’s mother, it didn’t take me long to realize the love this family shares. When I met Kerry and Frankie for their engagement shoot, it was evident that the apple didn’t fall far from the family tree. Clearly, Kerry was so in love with Frankie and it was cute just watching them interact with one another. Frankie was proud to have Kerry in his life.
It was great meeting both families last week at the wedding. Such great people. And fun friends.
We had a couple of unique situations…..First, Kerry and Frankie wanted family and group pictures taken prior to the ceremony (not unique) but Frankie could not see her (unique). We worked it without a hitch, posing the groups and then, with Frankie keeping his eyes closed (we trusted he wasn’t peeking, he’s a minister after all!), we’d bring Kerry out from hiding.
Everybody enjoyed teasing Frankie about being so close to his soon-to-be bride but not being able to see her…
Kerry, taking a moment before the ceremony…
Frankie’s father was his best man, I love this moment from the ceremony of the proud papa…
Another unique situation…time for the ring exchange…rings? RINGS? Who had the rings? A fantastic save from Kerry’s dad. Out of the pew he leapt as he quickly (and only briefly) left the church and returned with the rings. Great job!!
They had a fantastic reception at the Manor Tavern…. great food…lots of dancing… and it was obvious that everybody enjoyed themselves.
Tracy and I had a great time with you, your families and your guests. Thank you for allowing us to share in your beautiful day.
