Time to Rally the Vote for the National Model Search …

to benefit Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. VOTING ENDS APRIL 2!!

Thank you for your support of my participation in the National Charity Model Search. I’ve enjoyed submitting many wonderful portraits of our beautiful children to the contest, and I’m proud to say that by working together around the nation, we’ve raised over $94,000 for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep!!!

I’m thrilled that more awareness has been brought to this worthy charity because of this contest.

There’s still time to rally the final vote and raise more money for charity, as well as voting to keep our cutie models in the standings. If you’ve been putting off placing your vote, please do so now. Also, please urge your family and friends to vote, the voting ends APRIL 2!!! The contest selects America’s Cutest Kid, and the winning child receives great prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera for the National winner. Remember, each dollar generated by votes goes toward providing infant bereavement photography to parents who have lost a child.

Thanks again for getting the vote out.  I am a volunteer for NILMDTS and I’m thrilled that this contest has made more people aware of it. NILMDTS truly helps families through a most difficult time in their lives. These families are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Jackson’s First Year on slideshow…

Sneek peek for Baby Jackson turns 1!!!!

Wow, a year has gone by since I met Jackson.  Jackson is part of my Baby’s First Year plan and I’ve had such a wonderful time seeing this little guy grow.  One constant that I’ve noticed with Jackson with every photo shoot we’ve had (besides his pure cuteness) is his animated expressions.  He literally speaks through his expressions and it’s so stinkin’ cute!  Here are some links to his other shoots:   newborn portraits and 3 month portraits. 6 month portraits.  

Here are just a few of the images from Jackson’s 1 year shoot.  We were able to get family, including grandma’s and grandpa, aunt and uncle too.  But for now, these are a few highlights!  I will be posting a slideshow soon to stay tuned!

My baby turns 4!

We celebrated Lexi’s 4th birthday a couple of weeks ago.  I just can’t believe how quickly the time passes us by.

We had a great time.  Nonnie and Poppu came and stayed with us for a few days.  Lexi’s friends from the neighborhood and classroom came and partied with us.  Turner, the Dean of Magic performed for the kids and he was FABULOUS!  His magic show is SOOOOO entertaining (not only for kids but us bigger kids too!) and he does terrific face painting and great balloons sculptures too.  If you ever are in need of great entertainment for children, look him up.

I can’t post pictures of the adorable kids that celebrated with Lexi because I didn’t ask their parents, but here are some of my favorites from her 4th birthday.

The birthday girl was a little shy and didn’t want to “assist”, so big sis Hayley volunteered…

A little apprehensive about all of the attention as she thinks about blowing out her candles, then…..no problem!

We’re glad that our families and Lexi’s friends could come and celebrate with us. We are so very blessed to have this beautiful, sweet little girl as our daughter. I’m grateful every day that she is in our lives and am thrilled to be her mommy. We have the 2 sweetest girls in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
