Come Celebrate Fall with Us! Ellicott City Main Street Fall Festival and Music Fest!

Who here loves music, games, good people and good food? How about the beginning of changing leaves and brisk, cool weather? Well, you’re in luck, because the 2012 Fall Festival is going to be right here in Historic Ellicott City next Saturday!! Come out to Main Street on September 29 from noon to 7PM and spend the day celebrating the arrival of autumn. Bring your entire family, because there will be something for everyone:

-a moon bounce

-crafts

-beer gardens

-historic museums and demonstrations

-pumpkin carving

-businesses and vendors all along Main Street

-lots of children’s activities, and lots of fun!

Parents, while your children are at Ellicott Mills Stage in Lot D watching Jedi and Sith Lightsaber duels (from 4:30 to 5:00), on Tongue Row hula hooping, mural painting, and making ceramic magnets, or at Thomas Isaac Cabin moon bouncing, pumpkin decorating, and having their faces painted, you don’t have to sit around!

Wander over to Heavy Seas Stage Wine Bin Parking Lot to find Heavy Seas Beer Booth and Pure Wine Cafe Booth. At Ellicott Mills Stage in Lot D, you’ll also be able to find the Ellicott Mills Brewery Beer Booth or Wine Bin Wine Booth and sample the local brews. Feel free to also visit the shops and groups along Main Street while you’re here: River House Pizza Company, Out of the Box Guitars, Ooh La Lal Hair Salon, Nick’s BBQ Rubs, Salon Marielle, Journey from Junk, Sweet Elizabeth Jane, Shoemaker Country, the Ellicott City Business Association, The Rumor Mill, and, of course, Pam Long Photography!

And, if you’re into music and local, talented musicians, the Main Street Music Fest is happening the same day and place from noon to 9PM!!  Five venues, two outdoor theaters, and 40+ talented bands and artists.  Be sure to go to Music Fest’s Facebook page to get more information on the bands and the event, but here’s the schedule (as of last week) for easy reference:
