Renee, Cameron and Joseph from Habitat from Humanity, you were so pleasant to work with. Karoline did a great job collecting donations and keeping the contest entries organized!

And to all of the participants and people that came out to support this wonderful cause, you did a fantastic job!! It was great to meet so many of you.

Baby Brady….no longer a baby….

15 07 2007

Oh my gosh how time really does fly.  Baby Brady, as he was known in the neighborhood, is now (boy) Brady.  And adorable as ever.  We met at the studio and then went out back to chase some bubbles and then out to the stream!  What a fun time I had with him and his mommy and daddy!

I think he could have stayed on the horse allllll day long, he had a ball…

He had a great time fishing with our make shift fishing pole…

Love this family picture. Daddy teaching his boy how to fish, mamma soooo proud and Brady just plain determined (and adorable)…

Okay Brady, you didn’t catch any fish, but no need to feast on the rocks!! 😉

The family grows by one….

And what a sweet one he is.  Little Marvin was born 7 weeks ago and it was truly a joy to meet him and photograph him.  He performed like a pro for his first photo shoot.

I had the pleasure of meeting his mommy, Delshane, a few months ago at her maternity shoot.  She was a BEAUTIFUL pregnant woman, a joy to work with, a natural in front of the camera, so pleasant; I really enjoyed our time together.   We’ve kept in touch these past several weeks and I couldn’t wait to meet her little sweetie.  Daddy Marvin was also a joy to meet and to work with, it was great getting to know him.  Wonderful people.

They wanted studio pictures so we met here at the studio……they allowed me to googoo and gaagaa for a few minutes before we got started.

I mentioned that Delshane was a beautiful pregnant woman…she was equally, if not more so, a beautiful mommy.  And daddy Marvin…a very handsome man, it’s no wonder that baby Marvin is an absolute doll.

Marvin and Delshane, thank you so much for allowing me into your life again. Baby Marvin is very blessed to have you as parents. And Delshane, you wear motherhood so well.   I’m looking forward to our next time together.

ROCK solid…

My friend (and 2nd shooter for most of my weddings) Tracy, is a fantastic jewelry designer.  Her artistic talents reach way beyond her ability to catch great moments at weddings with the camera.

Our friend Sue hosted an open house to showcase Tracy’s work.  There was a terrific turnout; it was fun seeing, meeting and talking with everybody.

While looking through Tracy’s earrings display, I got this shot of Amy and Kathy admiring a beautiful necklace…

Tracy makes fabulous jewelry, both casual and dressy. She has a tremendous inventory of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, wine charms, bookmarks and children’s jewelry.  If there is something specific you would like, she will talk with you about it and be happy to make it for you if she doesn’t have it on hand. She’s awesome. You can contact her through her email turquoiseandtinsel@gmail.com.  Remember, the holidays will be here before we know it!

Tracy, I am just so proud of you.  You are a fantastic wife, a phenomenal mother, a terrific friend to many, many lucky people, a great artist, and a terrific business person.  I am blessed that you are a part of my life.
